Past RMRL President Warren Gretz, NØFVG passed away on November 20, 2024 at his home in Catalina Arizona. He was 80.
Warren led the RMRL in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He spearheaded many projects including the installation of a club repeater on Devilshead Mountain.
Outside of ham radio, Warren was known for his many activities including airplanes, competitive shooting, photography, and horseback riding.
Professionally, Warren spent the greater part of his career at the National Renewable Energy Lab in Golden Colorado where he was head of the photographic department.
After retirement Warren moved to Idaho and later to southern Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Jan Mutchler, NØLMC. Services were held December 17th in Oro Valley Arizona.
Those of us in the RMRL who knew Warren will miss his leadership, can-do attitude and friendly demeanor. RIP Warren.
