RMRL Holiday Dinner 12/11/2019 – Updated 1/11/2020

UPDATE:

We had a great time! We always enjoy seeing familiar faces that we talk to regularly and meeting new people. The festivities included everyone selecting little presents that “Santa Joe” brought. A couple of lucky people were winners of the 900MHz radios that were donated by Society of Broadcast Engineer’s Jack Roland and brought in person by Skyler. The grand prize winner was our own Net Control Operator, Bruce, who won an AnyTone radio, donated by a generous person who wishes to remain anonymous.

The evening was capped off by our guest speakers, Trish, K9FOG, and Brian, K9ATK, each talking about their respective experiences and nets on the RMRL. Trish started the YL Family Net (great for ALL members of the family) and Brian is a co-host of the Pet Net (along with Becky, KD0AOE.)

A special guest, Thunder, attended in an ambassadorial capacity.

If you missed it this year, we hope you can join us next year!

Holiday Gift Ideas!

Looking for a thoughtful gift for your ham radio friend? How about a membership to the RMRL? An individual or family membership (for all persons in a household) is just $20/per year.

Just go to Membership page. About halfway down the page is the membership application. All we need is the persons call sign, address, and phone number.

Just under the application “SEND” button is the payment information. We use PayPal to process our payments, you do NOT have to have a PayPal account to pay.

In the “Callsign and Comments” text box, be sure to include the note that you are paying for a gift membership and give the call sign and name of the person.

Because the membership and payment information are separate, knowing who you are paying for is the only way we have to connect the application and payment, so please be clear.

What if the person is already a member? We add your gift to their membership record and they won’t have to pay next year when their membership normally comes due.

But Wait!  There’s More!

If you would just like to give a one-time donation to the RMRL, go to the Contact Us page and look for the Donate button. Since the RMRL is a 501c3, your donation is tax deductible.

And Still More!

You can give year-round by making the Rocky Mountain Radio League your preferred 501c3 in the Amazon Smile program (see the Contact Us page for more information.)

And Don’t Forget!

As long as you are in a giving mood, the RMRL will be happy to take your gently used equipment to sell.  All proceeds will go to the RMRL treasury. We can continue to bring you well-maintained and up-to-date repeaters for your ham radio hobby enjoyment.
